Sharing my thoughts

Assalamualaikum everyone..
Today someone mentioned something interesting and I would just like to share my thoughts on it. The statement is as follows;
“I AM A PROUD MUSLIM AND I VOTED YES TO SAME SEX MARRIAGE BECAUSE RELIGIOUS BELIEF SHOULD NOT JUSTIFY DISCRIMINATION..”
I would not say who the speaker is, because that’s not the point.
First things first, I would like to say that I’m not sure if I totally agree with this statement..
What I do believe is that no matter what, Islam would never allow us to agree with this. When Allah says it’s a sin, it’s a sin. Full stop. There’s no need to debate on it.
But then, Islam does teach us TO BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER.

So, whatever sins other people commit, we have no right to treat them like thy are less than us bcause we never know what the future holds. Who knows if one day they’ll receive Hidayah and become better people than us?
In the end, everything is between them and Allah. So, don’t be so quick in judging and punishing others. Keep doing your job as Khalifahs on earth, because you’ll be questioned about later in Akhirah. Just prepare yourself first, okay. 💁🏻
This post is not me trying to be a self-acclaimed ustazah or anything, but it is just a reminder for me and anyone willing to read it. Let’s pray that we’ll become better people each day okay. Insyaallah ❤️

PLEASE, Focus on the Bigger Issues First.

Assalamualaikum.. Recently, a video went viral in Malaysia, where a women carrying her small child was seen 'lashing out' to her husband in the middle of a mall when she discovered that her husband had been cheating on her with another women. The video showed that the women was scolding her husband who was with his girlfriend in front of everyone (including the child she was carrying), and the video ended with the wife slapping her husband. Here's the videos; Soooo..
