Allah's Rights

Assalamualaikum and good morning, evening, or whatever.

A while back, I had a group discussion with my friends on how we define "Faith". There was a saying from one of the sisters that struck me.

"It's not about human's rights, women's rights, or even children's rights. It never was. It is all about Allah's rights".

For instance, if you are a husband, you have no right to abuse your wife. It's not because of her right as a women, but of Allah's rights on her as her creator.

Okay. Let's have an analogy here.

Imagine that you were asked to create something for a school project, let's say, an airplane model or something. Now, would you just allow anyone to dissemble your model, let alone destroy it? When you made that model, you had the right on it as you owned it. Of course you'd protect it. Heck, I would've framed it if I could so that nothing touches it. Nothing.

So, the same things goes to the previous situation. Your wife belongs to Allah. Your children belongs to Allah.
Heck, even you belong to Allah.

How dare you use his own creation (a.k.a. you) to destroy his other creations.
Just, how dare you.

As a Muslim, I don't believe in karma. But, what I do believe is that in the end, you'll be receiving what you deserve. If it isn't now, it's in the afterlife.

Just keep in mind, Allah sees everything you do ever step along the way.

p/s : I just learnt that in Arabic, Allah means God. And for Muslims, Allah is God. See, the perfection of Islam!
