Playing with the Sakura flowers all by myself

Image
Hi again! Every year, New Zealand will be having a Sakura Festival at Palmerston North, cue to the Sakura blooming of course. So, my friends and I decided to have a sakura-themed-photoshoot-session, and I've decided with the throwing-flowers-above-your-head pose because I'm #lame. Anyway, this is a screenshot of the video; I had too much fun shooting this!  For someone who's playing alone, I shouldn't be looking so happy. 😂  Right after this trip, I actually started getting ill and was kind of bed-ridden for about a month. I did go to the compulsory classes though, but that was it. I had a bad fever and rashes appeared all over my body. It was a dreadful experience. Then, I finally decided to visit the clinic because I wasn't getting any better. Finally, the predicament was that I'm actually allergic to pollen. It doesn't sound that bad, but for someone who has eczema and hay fever, I wasn't even allowed to step out of the house for too

First time snowboarding at Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand

Image
Assalamualaikum everyone! This is actually a picture taken 2 years ago.  It was totally freezing and I couldn't feel my hands, nor my face. Plus, the snow was veeerrryyy slippery, hence the reason why I was standing awkwardly (I didn't want to slip and die).  It was actually the first and last time I went snowboarding. Not something I'd repeat though, but it's totally worth trying. Your whole body is going to be aching for over 2 weeks after, if you ever decide to give snowboarding try, but the experience is what matters, okay. 😉 I may not have been the best snowboard-er, but at least I had fun while doing it, right? So, that's all from me... Assalamualikum and byeeee..! Source: http://www.snowboardsteez.com

How does the African Indigenous Religions View the World of the ‘Afterlife’?

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! My life in New Zealand had been amazingly hectic and I'd been crazzzyyy busy keeping up with my grades and my life! Tons had happened but I'll tell you about that in another post. Anyway, this year, I've decided to take a Religion Studies (RELI) class to fulfill my degree's requirement; it's an extra class I had to take in order to graduate. For this class, we had to submit two essays and the instructions to do it is basically; Choose a religion Choose a topic Discuss and argue about something from your chosen topic in 1500 words Looks simple right? Source: https://www.vice.com/en_nz We had to discuss something that we have NOOOO IDEAA about, besides what we were taught in a 2-hour lecture per religion. Telling someone about a whole religion in just 2 hours is definitely not enough guys, whatever your point is. The speaker would only be able to grasp the basic principles of those religions in 2 hours.
